Move your way for Women's Aid every day in September

Women's Aid

Come together with your friends, family or colleagues to move 1.7 miles a day, every day in September for the 1.7 million survivors of domestic abuse every year.

You can Walk, Run, Swim, Hop or anything else creative that you can think of!  With every stride, stroke and hop, you will be ensuring Women's Aid can continue to be there for survivors!

An estimated 1.7 million women experience domestic abuse in England and Wales every year.  That is 1.7 million too many.  As part of our Come Together to End Domestic Abuse campaign, which aims to promote real societal attitudinal change by demonstrating the inpact we can have when we come together, we hold our annual 1.7 fundraising challenge!

What is our new Giving and Growing Platform?

It's now even easier to make an impact where it matters to you most, in ways that challenge you and your teams to get involved.

At Next, your charitable initiatives can reach new heights as we share the good work we do across our wider team and allow others at Next to get involved too.

If you're familiar with 'Just Giving', this platform supports in a similar way, allowing you to do so much more and really push the boundaries on how you and your wider teams at Next can do good for communities and charities locally and worldwide. Check out the video to learn more.

What does the new giving platform do?

Suggest a Charity

This new way of giving allows you to link your events and activities to any chosen Charity. You can choose from a library of Charities or suggest a completely new charity to support.

Request an Activity

Every Event needs an Activity behind it to drive your impact. Whether it's volunteering, goods collection or fundraising, this is where you tell us, how you wish to make an impact.

Events

This is your webpage to showcase your chosen charity, tell us a bit about why you are doing good for your chosen charity. Your teams can also keep up to date with your progress here.

Request a Challenge

Challenges are completely separate to Events and Activities. These are purely driven by you and your goals to make an impact. Choose to do a challenge on your own or with your team.

This platform is powered by Alaya. If you're wanting to play your part, but not sure what you want to do, or who you want to support, this new way of giving also allows you to get involved with challenges set by Next. Through this platform, you can discover what other people at Next are doing for charity and ways you can support them.

Keep track of all your contributions, activity involvement and challenges on your own personal dashboard. This is updated in real time and helps you look back on everything you've done for a charitable cause to date.
