This April all of the funds raised from Stall holder fees and Raffle tickets will be awarded to Teenage Cancer Trust

We want to make a difference to the support that young people receive when they are given a life changing diagnosis.

Teenage Cancer Trust want to ensure that 'Young People do not face cancer alone'

They provide specialist cancer units, their aim being that they 'don't feel like hospital.  They're specially designed spaces where young people can feel at home, meet others their age, welcome family and friends and get the very best care from dedicated nurses and youth support teams.'

We were eager to draw the Raffle the day after the Market to get the prizes to the Winners as soon as possible.

Bob Pritchard kindly picked the prize winners, assisted by Charities Manager Andrea Burley.

There were a lot of prize winners, so thank you Bob for taking the time and huge THANKS to those that bought tickets.

You raised an incredible amount for Teenage Cancer Trust through buying Raffle tickets and continuing to buy from our mainly independent stall holders.  You supported local businesses who paid to have a table at our market.  The money received from the stall holders along with the Raffle ticket proceeds all go to Teenage Cancer Trust.

Special thanks go to Kish Gokani who sold an incredible number of Raffle tickets in the days leading up to the Easter Market.

With his help we increased our Raffle ticket ticket donations considerably.  We know those at the Teenage Cancer Trust will be extremely grateful for his efforts.
