VOLUNTEERING
Volunteering can make a real difference to your own life and the lives of those around you. There are loads of ways to get involved and the best volunteering role for you will be to give your time doing something you enjoy.
So how do you go about finding the right volunteering role for you?
Think about what interests or excites you. This could be something you enjoyed doing before, or something completely new.
Think about what time or skills you can give.
With so many opportunities to choose from, it's a great idea to narrow down the choices by deciding what you're willing to give.
Finally do your research, do you know someone that volunteers? Is there a charity that supports a cause that you believe in?
All charities rely on their volunteers who provide their time unpaid, who are committed and are willing to share their skills. Please note that a role as a volunteer is a commitment. All charities rely on their volunteers which ensures the majority of their fundraising goes towards the charities aims.

Make A Wish UK
Every child deserves to wish for more than a life defined by illness, and they need your time to help make their wishes come true. Even just 30 minutes a week of your time will have a profound impact on our ability to grant wishes sooner. It means that children who may not have long left to live will have the opportunity to make memories that the family can cherish forever, before it's too late.
Donate your time and become a 'Wish Maker' where we'll help you develop new skills and connect with volunteers across the UK. Your time can grant wishes
